The rain was still coming down hours later. I was making a sandwich, still feeling that itch of dissatisfaction. It wasn’t about the money; it was that I hadn’t even understood the game I was playing. I’m a competitive person. I hate feeling like I don’t get the rules. So I opened the laptop again. This time, I didn’t click on the slots. I saw a section called ‘Live Casino’. I clicked it. It was a whole different world. It was a real video feed of a real person in a real studio, dealing real cards on a real blackjack table. There were other players’ names on the screen, making bets. It felt… social. Alive. It was the exact opposite…
